Assisting with Dentistry and Oral Surgery (Part 1) Jun 13, 2:00 PM – 3:50 PM EDT Be the right and left hand of the veterinarian, and always know when, where, and how! This webinar will outline the many additional tasks veterinary technicians/nurses and dental hygienists are doing. The focus of the first part will be on communicating with pet owners and referring veterinarians, triaging potentially urgent cases, scheduling appointments and checkups, doing perioperative care (tape muzzles, suture removal, etc.), performing discharges and follow-up examinations, filing dental and medical records, and educating pet owners about home oral hygiene. The didactic lecture will last 1.5 hours, but the webinar is designed so that there is extra time for interactive participation and answering your questions.
