A mock exam for 6 participants will be held on the weekend of May 3rd, 2025 in Charlotte, NC. It will mimic the current exam format with sessions in Endodontics, Oral Surgery, Periodontology, and a combination of Prosthodontics and Restorative Dentistry.

Participants should arrive at the VECE on Friday, May 2nd by 5 pm to set up their equipment.  A Midmark or IM3 dental unit will be provided for each attendee at a 3’ x 5’ workstation. Dental x-ray units using Progeny CR plates will be used for radiography of the cadaver heads. Distilled water, bleach, and towels for the cadaver heads will be provided.

**Just like with the AVDC exam, all other supplies should be brought by the candidate (Don’t forget your magnifying loupes and light source!)**

Dr. Queck will grade the participants’ work, suggest improvements in technique, and discuss the different options for performing the procedures.

An on-site cocktail reception will begin at 6 pm on Friday May 2nd followed by a catered dinner. Afterwards, we will discuss selected dental topics and strategies for a successful exam over dessert and coffee.
