Thursday October 08, 1:00 PM – 2:50 PM EDT (Philadelphia) Recognize eruption abnormalities in your patients! What else besides extraction can you do for a malpositioned tooth? Thinking about passive and active orthodontics? Help your malocclusion patients! This webinar will review eruption abnormalities, normal occlusion, and various forms of dental and skeletal malocclusions. Genetic counseling with the pet owner will be explained. Orthodontic movement of lingually displaced mandibular canine teeth (direct inclined plane, crown elongation) and mesially displaced maxillary canine teeth (power chains) as well as the taking of full-mouth impressions, making of stone models, and obtaining of bite registrations will be discussed step-by step. The didactic lecture will last 1.5 hours, but the webinar is designed so that there is extra time for interactive participation and answering your questions.
