Monday August 24, 6:00 PM – 7:50 PM EDT (Philadelphia) Curious about creating a tape muzzle or wire-reinforced intraoral splint? Open your toolbox and use non-invasive and minimally invasive options for jaw fracture repair without damage to teeth! This webinar will review the diagnosis and treatment of oral and maxillofacial hard and soft tissue trauma, including jaw fractures, lip avulsions, lacerations, burns, bite wounds, gunshot injuries, and others. Numerous techniques of jaw fracture repair will be discussed with a focus on non-invasive and minimally invasive treatment options such as tape muzzling, sutures through buttons, interarch splinting, circumferential wiring, and interdental wiring/composite splinting. The didactic lecture will last 1.5 hours, but the webinar is designed so that there is extra time for interactive participation and answering your questions.
