The educational experience in dentistry and oral surgery is enhanced by participation in clinical rounds and journal clubs. A mixture of case-/topic-based learning, interactive discussion, and article review provide opportunities for direct communication with the teacher. The topics discussed during this 2.5-hour online event belong to the discipline of orthodontics and include common malocclusions seen in dogs and cats and the use of inclined planes, crown extensions, and active force appliances.
