 This 2-day lecture and laboratory focuses on feline dentistry and oral surgery for the veterinary practioner. The course is limited to veterinarians only. The course covers periodontal disesae, oral inflammation, stomatitis, tooth resorption, fractured teeth, step-by-step surgical extractions, and subgingival crown amputations with intentional root retention. Intraoral radiology image acquisition and image interpretation is presented and utilized throughout the course. Intraoral regional nerve blocks are taught. The didactic lectures are presented with clinical photographs and lectures and thorough lecture notes so participants can learn and interact in lectures. Step-by-step surgical extractions will be presented and practiced and pitfalls will be disussed. Complication of extractions and the management will be present.
